For an interesting outing one afternoon, rent a four-wheel drive vehicle and head on over to L.G. Smith Boulevard. The California Lighthouse is at the North End, and many say the view is amazing. However, if you’re not impressed, there is an Italian restaurant nearby that will make the trip worthwhile regardless.
If you’re looking to snorkel or scuba dive around and into an amazing site, then the Antilla should be on your list. It is a German freighter that sunk during World War II, and can be seen in all it’s glory, or what is left of it, with some goggles and snorkel/scuba gear.

See the wonders of nature in these rock formations, may of which are still unexplained. The Ayo and Casibari Rock Formations are reddish brown in color, and although they have erupted from the grounds of a mostly sandy island, they have taken interesting shapes, some resembling birds of even dragons.
A great way to spend time with the kids, the Mangel Halto Beach has warm water and gentle waves. There are restaurants and facilities nearby in case someone gets hungry or needs to use the bathroom. The beautiful blue waters make it a great chance to snorkel and watch the marine life pass by.
You can take a tour to this natural pool, or you can rent a 4×4 Jeep and make the off-road trip yourself. It is a very exciting to make drive over, although bumpy, and once you make it to the pool, cooling off is a wonderful reward. However, make sure to wear slip-resistant shoes, as there are some jagged and slippery rocks around the waters.
